Founded on the principles established by Sir George Williams in 1844, YMCA SEIROY continues the global mission of developing young people's character, leadership abilities, and community service through comprehensive programs across 55 centers in southeastern India. Our recent initiatives include the Harbingers of Change leadership program, gender empowerment workshops, and community health camps serving over 300,000 members.

YMCA Movement Founded
by Sir George Williams
Sir George Williams founded the YMCA on June 6, 1844, in London, England. A young draper's assistant, Williams brought together 12 friends for Bible study and prayer, creating the first Young Men's Christian Association to develop the spirit, mind, and body of young men.
